I'm selling this on behalf of my brother-in-law. Please bring all offers. He purchased this used during university, worked on it and got it running but recently it has just been sitting in his garage and barely used. This motorcycle needs a new home.
It was last running 6 months ago and will just need a simple fix to get going again given that it's been sitting. Needs carburetor flush, and maybe a new battery or a good charge. We would like to sell as-is. Overall "good" condition- there are spots of rust on the mirrors, some scratches and general signs of wear. Body is great and never been in an accident. I'm not an expert on cars or motorcycles but feel free to contact me with any questions. We have also accessories to go with it (fitted cover, helmet, gear backpack) Clean title. 27k miles. A couple years ago we put the then-new Kawasaki Z900RS up against the Suzuki GSX-S1000 in a slightly apples-to-oranges comparo, Retro or Not(ro), which the Kawi won by a hair. Now that Suzuki has their own retro based upon the GSX-S in the Katana, we felt like we had to do it again.

It was August 1980 and Lawson was undergoing a titanic scrap for the AMA title with Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer here at Pocono Raceway in Philladelphia. The circuit is known as the 'Tricky Triangle' amongst the NASCAR drivers but the superbikes used a mix of infield and sections of the banked circuit.

Tue, 18 Feb 2014James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.
