Suzuki Bandit description

For sale is my 2001 Suzuki Bandit 1200s, like new, with 10832 miles. I have a clear GA title in my name on hand.  Tune up done at 10350 miles. Everything works perfectly.  New spark plugs, air filter, oil and oil filter.  Carburetor was clean and tune at the same mileage.  Back tire like new, has around 500 miles. Front tire around 700 miles.  Both tires are Dunlop Sport Max Roadsmart.  Everything in this motorcycle is stock, no modification so no worries. Motorcycle has never been lain down, drop or race. This bike has always being garage kept.  As you can see in the pictures the motorcycle is in really good conditions.  There are some scratches were the ignition key goes do to having a key chain and on the tale of the bike.  Last owner had hard plastic side bags, so putting them on in off left some scratches on both sides.  Some that you can barely see and some deep ones.  The reason why I'm selling the bike is me and my father are restoring a vintage 1975 Honda CB 750 four together, it has always been my dream.  I purchased the Honda  3 month ago so we started the project and ran out of money.  Because is my project my Bandit has to go.  I wish I could keep it but it is not possible.  I know the new owner will enjoy it.

Now for the winner of this great bike.  I'm not responsible for shipping the motorcycle, but if you arrange the shipping company to come to my house I will be glad to help load the motorcycle.  I want to make it easy for locals or people from far to buy this great motorcycle.  Keep in mind that I can't  be hold responsible for loading if anything happens.   I can keep the bike in my garage for up to a month for free after full payment.  You will keep the title and I will not used the motorcycle at all

I will require a $500 non refundable deposit 48 hours after the auction ends and full payment within 7 days in cash or cashiers check after auction ends.

If you have any questions at all please contact me by email.  I will answer as soon is possible.

Happy bidding!!!!

Knee-high land-speed record device

Wed, 28 Jul 2010

This mad looking motorcycle is a land speed record device that never turned a wheel in anger. It was built by the infamous Dave Manning in 1968 using a discarded drop tank from a Korean fighter plane. Manning built a space-frame chassis inside the tiny teardrop and also managed to find room for a Suzuki T500 twin cylinder two-stroke motor.

KTM‘s Ken Roczen continues to impress, taking his second AMA Supercross win of his 450-class rookie season at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Roczen, who also won the season opening Anaheim 1 round, took advantage of a mistake by Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto to take the win and move within nine points of the defending champion in the rider standings. The main event started with Smartop Motoconcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot for his best start this season.
