* * *  MECHANICAL DETAILS  * * *

RUNS GREAT - ENGINE , CLUTCH AND TRANNY OPERATE PERFECTLY

FULL YOSHIMIRA   RS3  STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST WITH CARBON FIBER SILENCER - NOT A SLIP ON - - - -  VALUE NEAR $1000

HAS  " BRAND NEW "  MICHELIN RADIALS- - - - - - VALUE NEAR $500 MOUNTED AND BALANCED
LOOK / STILL HAS NUBS IN CENTER  - NEW TIRES ARE SLICK UNTIL GET WORN IN -
I HAVE SEEN MANY RIDERS DROP IT WITH NEW TIRES - THIS MAY BE WHAT HAPPENED

COMES WITH THE UNDAMAGED INSTRUMENTS BUT IT MOUNTED ON UPPER FAIRING BRACKET WHICH WAS DAMAGED .

BIKE RUNS WITH OR WITHOUT THE GAGES- TO INSTALL , JUST MAKE A MOUNTING BRACKET .

SEE PHOTO OF BIKE WITH FAIRING AS IT WAS WHEN ACQUIRED FROM INSURANCE COMPANY

NO OTHER PARTS EXCEPT GAGES AND MAYBE A COUPLE TURN SIGNALS

HAS SCRATCHES  AND DINGS . USE ZOOM FEATURE TO ZOOM IN ON EXCELLENT PHOTOS.

FRAME LOOKS STRAIGHT / STEERS STRAIGHT IN MY OPINION
APPEARS A VERY LIGHT IMPACT ON FRONT FORKS .
I REMOVED TUBES AND INSPECTED AND FOUND A VERY SLIGHT COUPLE
DEGREE BEND IN FORK TUBES JUST BELOW LOWER TRIPLE CLAMP . CLAMPS APPEAR FINE . SAME AMOUNT BOTH SIDES SO
THAT IS A GOOD SIGN IN MY OPINION .  TUBES ARE EASILY STRAIGHTENED WITH A PRESS AND BLOCKS AND YOU TUBE .

FORK TUBES AND  REAR SHOCK AND ALL CHROME  ARE CLEAN  WITH OUR LOW HUMIDITY AND LITTLE RAIN AND  NO RUST ,

NO FORK SEAL  LEAKAGE .

REAR SHOCK SHAFT CLEAN .

EXPLAINATION OF THE " REBUILT " TITLE THAT IT WILL HAVE .

AS WITH MOST STATES , YOU TAKE THE BIKE TO DMV INSPECTION STATION FOR A LIGHTING VERIFICATION .

YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE ALL YOUR LIGHTS AND SIGNALS  WORKING .

THEN YOUR DMV WILL GIVE YOU A NEW TITLE IN YOUR NAME .

IT IS NOW STREET LEGAL AND WILL STATE "REBUILT " IN THE COMMENT SECTION

IT WILL NOT BE NOR WILL IT SAY SALVAGE ONCE YOU HAVE INSPECTION PERFORMED

IF YOU RETAIN SOME PHOTOS WHEN YOU RECEIVE BIKE AND YOU CAN VERIFY ITS LIGHT DAMAGE

IN CASE THAT AT A LATER DATE YOU RESELL IT .

IT IS A SALVAGE TITLE CURRENTLY BUT WILL NOT BE NOR WILL IT SAY SALVAGE

ONCE YOU HAVE INSPECTION PERFORMED [ UNLESS YOU ARE IN CALIFORNIA ] .

Knee-high land-speed record device

Wed, 28 Jul 2010

This mad looking motorcycle is a land speed record device that never turned a wheel in anger. It was built by the infamous Dave Manning in 1968 using a discarded drop tank from a Korean fighter plane. Manning built a space-frame chassis inside the tiny teardrop and also managed to find room for a Suzuki T500 twin cylinder two-stroke motor.

2022 Suzuki Hayabusa First Look

Fri, 05 Feb 2021

Everything you wanted to know about Suzuki's flagship except what it's like to ride For a segment of motorcycling as technologically-driven as sportbikes, 14 years is an eternity – even more so for a category that Suzuki calls the Ultimate Sportbike – but that’s how long it’s been for the Hayabusa. While there was an incremental update in 2013 that brought ABS to the table, until today, the Hayabusa, a motorcycle that, on its inception way back in 1999 had claimed the title of “world’s fastest production motorcycle,” had only undergone two generational updates: the original release and the 2008 revamp. However, today’s announcement of the 2022 Suzuki Hayabusa adds another chapter to this earth-bound missile.
