this is a super rare running riding specimen built in England in the early 70's this is one of the first of not to many of these MX bikes  built ,  the  MX version of the bike  bike is far more rare.  they were built with Sachs 6 speed 125cc motors and Cerriani 35mm forks. rare hard to find bike mostly complete.

this bike runs! will need a cosmetic / asthetic restoration  - or build into a racve machine! it has aftermarrket finned poppy shocks.

Very nice great running/handling 500 Interceptor!   I am no stranger to the Honda Interceptors having owned, built, modified and maintained all of the first generation V4 bikes and I still own this bike, a modified VF1000F Interceptor and a highly modified VF1000R.   The 500 Interceptor was considered the best handling of the first generation Interceptors!

Two stroke Rocket from the past! Remember when you used to blow away y all your buddies on their Harleys or other Jap bikes on your RD400 back in the 70's - well things have not changed that much - you could still blow your buddies away on their Harley's in 2013 on your Very own RD400! this was the bike to have back in the day - one of the best handling and quickest Two strokes of its time, way better handling than any of the Kawasaki triples and Fast and reliable to boot!

Beautiful bike and runs like a bat outta hell.  It's a 2010 model year titled in Colorado as a "Jeff Nicklus Custom" http://www.jeffnickluscustoms.com/ with only 658 miles on the odometer.  I listed as a desperado (http://www.desperadomotorcycles.com/) because they are owned by the same person.  I'm sad to see it go, but I just didn't get to ride it enough to justify keeping it.  I am the original owner and the bike has always been stored indoors and under a cover on a trickle charger. I did have the frame re-powdercoated from silver to black earlier in the year, so all fluids were replaced at that time.  The bike has many custom parts as well as some that are familiar.   Powering the bike is a Harley 80" 1340cc Evolution Engine that has some upgraded Jim's components as well as a custom cam.  It has a big Ultima Belt Drive, 6-speed transmission, and starter. It has twisted spoke wheels (21" front, 16" rear x 180 wide) with Avon tires that only have 658 miles on them.  The rear pegs with turn signals are currently not wired and the entire bracket can be removed with two bolts if desired.
