This is a nice 1985 Moto Guzzi California II Convert.  The Convert model is a 2 speed automatic transmission. The torque converter on this model is beefy and will surprise you at the acceleration from a light in low range.The bike is all original except for the K&N Velocity stack air cleaners.  All the chrome was removed and dipped to remove surface rust.  (Not Re-Plated) Good condition La Franconi stainless steel mufflers were polished and added to replace an after market set that was pitted through the chrome.  I went through this bike completely and repaired anything that needed repaired or replaced including the electrical system.  The Cycle Garden in Huntington Beach, CA tuned the bike, flushed fluids in the engine, transmission, torque converter and rear end, modified the distributor for the electronic ignition added by the previous owner. They also installed new front wheel bearings and new Dunlop tires on the front and rear.  Valves were adjusted and the engine tuned and rode hard by Mo the owner to give a degree of comfort just in case I decided to hit the open rode with this one.  The compression is like the day it left the factory.

1961 BSA DBD34 Gold Star - Clubman.   Beautifully refurbished by M/C Hall of Fame inductee, Bob Hansen,  this 'Goldie'  has been covered and garaged in the friendly climate of Orange County, California since 1991.   I need the space, hence, it is now available to some lucky enthusiast.   Purchaser must pick up or arrange transportation.
