2012 Royal Enfield C5 , For sale: Low miles 2012 Royal Enfield C5 Military with matching sidecar. Bike has just over 1700 miles. Changing circumstances mean the motorcycle has to go. Bought new in Nov 2012 from Ft. Worth dealer that did may custom touches as their show bike: blackout treatment on many of the stock chromed parts, matching sidecar, tank rack, performance exhaust. Changes I''ve made: added the rear rack, custom leather sidecar cover with center support, quieter exhaust in stock position to permit adding saddlebags. Original tool kit and spare tubes and cables are still with it. Also comes with three more oil change kits. (Services done at 300 miles and 1100 miles.) Asking $10500.00 (or best offer). The white AFX modular helmet is less than 1 year old, the Street&Steel half-helmet is 1 year old. The silver Lazer is old and only for a "spare". Both jackets are Bilt brand in size - 1 summer mesh (size L) and the other a 3/4 length winter (size XL) with removable liner. Both jackets have spine pad and segmented shoulder and elbow armor. Wed, 13 Nov 2024Royal Enfield leans heavily into its British heritage for this modern take on classic styling I'm standing outside a pub in the cool of English autumn - a pint of hand-pulled ale in one hand, paper-wrapped fish and chips in the other. Beside me, a factory engineer draws casually from a hand-rolled cigarette and we cheerfully discuss the classic British motorcycle parked in front of us. This whole thing is an English nationalist's fever dream.

Tue, 24 Jan 2023Riding Royal Enfield's cruisers through the Indian countryside Credit: Photos by Royal Enfield/Jason Critchell & Chippy Wood Five years on from the 2018 launch of its first ever twin-cylinder models to be made in India, since when over 400,000 examples of the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 have been sold around the world, Royal Enfield has now added the first of a much-anticipated series of spinoff models to its range. Join the Royal Enfield Forum Unveiled at last November’s EICMA Milan Show and already in production at RE’s Chennai plant for global deliveries to commence in March, the Super Meteor 650 is available in two versions targeting different slices of the middleweight cruiser market. Named after Royal Enfield’s first 100mph model launched back in 1955, a 700cc breakthrough bike marketed as a go-anywhere mile-eater which was available for the first time from any manufacturer with its own array of optional touring equipment, these are both powered by the same air/oil-cooled eight-valve 648cc parallel-twin engine with central chain-driven SOHC equipping the Interceptor and Continental GT.
