Royal Enfield C5 Bullet Classic description

This is a Royal Enfield C5 Bullet Classic in chrome with black finishes. It embodies the quintessential style of the 1950s British motorcycle...the design has never been changed from its postwar original. There are very few of these beautiful and unique bikes in the USA...and this one has only 2,000 miles on it! I have only driven it around town and have always stored it in a garage that was heated during the winter. It has had no accidents, dents, or scratches. As for the upgrades, a new black leather seat was added in place of the stock brown seat. All four of the orange indicator lights were replaced with sleek red indicators with visors. The smaller stock headlight was replaced with a larger vintage-style headlight with a visor. The tall stock mirrors were replaced with a short retro-style mirror. The stock metal housing that had contained the license plate, taillight, and back indicators was removed and replaced with a honeycomb taillight and license plate holder mounted separately to the back fender. The new back indicators were mounted under the seat. Check out the photos. This is one very cool bike that you will never see on the road. Ever. It will definitely draw compliments wherever you go. I originally owned one of these bikes when I lived overseas and am now selling this one because I am returning there. It's awesome! Come and see it before it's gone!

This motorcycle is located in the western suburbs of Chicago, IL USA.

Three-Year-Old Motorcycle Prodigy?

Tue, 18 Aug 2009

Even though Tiger woods started paying golf at age two, this story of a three-year-old boy from New Delhi, India is probably just as impressive, maybe more.  Azeem Khan, photographed on the Royal Enfield Bullet above, has been granted a special license by judges in India allowing him to ride his motorcycle on side roads but is not allowed out on the main roads by himself. Khan’s father had to customize the bike so that the young boy could reach the controls and prove that he could handle the motorcycle on his own. I used to sit him on my bike and he would always grab at the controls.

New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.
