2012 Piaggio X10 350 Review - Motorcycle.com

Sun, 01 Apr 2012

It’s got the lines of an Italian supermodel’s legs and we got the VIP treatment at a suave scooter launch with the Italian Embassy in Paris, serving as the runway. The Piaggio X10 is the famed scooter producer’s new flagship model and it’s aimed at a grown up market that knows how to appreciate everyday comforts. It’s public knowledge that Piaggio has been working on an active aerodynamic system, though the choice to use the MP3 in the patent illustrations is a bit surprising.

Piaggio Reveals Business Plan for 2014-2017

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

Facing a difficult European economy and a 13.7% decrease in net sales last year, the Piaggio Group announced a new business plan that will carry the company through 2017. The plan calls for the launch of 19 new models – 12 motorcycles and 7 scooters – over the next four years. Piaggio hopes this will help sales increase from its 2013 level of 555,600 units to 800,000 units in 2017, with earnings increasing by 70%.
