1955 Harley Davidson FLE Panshovel Chopper   This is an early 70's original patina, running, riding, stopping, survivor chopper built in Sacramento, California during the peak of choppers. There is a story behind this bike that the new owner gets with the bike.  OEM 1955 matching bellies lower with a stroker OEM 1966 shovel top end. OG S&S Super B with Prism Supply Bristol air cleaner (I have the original round air cleaner that comes with the bike).

1955 FLE Panhead with 1966 shovelhead tops and barrels. Unaltered 55FLE vin boss. numbers out of the dmv system so the bike comes with a bill of sale.

Here is a 1955 FL Harley Panhead motor, ready to assemble, new main shaft bearings "Races have been line lapped" and case halves machine matched to each other. has a nice used 55-64 flywheel & rod set. The right case is an early pan case machined for a lat race and the left is a replacement aftermarket re stamped and matches title perfectly.

This is a 1955 Harley Davidson  titled as such, nice original wishbone frame that has been smoothed & molded, the engine is a 1955 Pan-Head bottom-end with a Shovelhead  top end with nice thick base plates in between. I purchased it from a guy in California  and this was his description; BUILT by MAX SCHAAF,  the front end is a narrowed wide glide with custom rippled lowers, lots of custom parts built by Max including the Handle bars, Fuel tank ,Exhaust Pipes, Paint /Molding, Mid controls, Bike runs great... ,S&S SUPER E CARB, JOE-HUNT MAGNETO WITH A CLEAR CAP, BDL OPEN BELT ,I REMOVED THE MID CONTROLS & PRIMARY & Left THE BDL BELT EXPOSED,I  INSTALLED A SET OF FORWARD CONTROLS,(TOO TALL) THE OTHER PARTS ARE INCLUDED WITH BIKE.

This Harley Chopper was pulled out of an old storage unit.  The magneto fired.  45" Flathead starts easily, does NOT SMOKE.  Aluminum heads, no broken fins.  Transmission shifts into ALL GEARS but feels SLOPPY.  Frame has been RAKED and molded.  Harley Springer front end has been professionally EXTENDED 8 INCHES   History unknown.  Needs ATTENTION to be ROAD WORTHY.  Clear Nevada title in my name.  $1000 nonrefundable deposit due within 24 hrs of end of auction.

This was taken off my personal Panhead transmission to change to foot shift. It work fine with no flaws at all. The Jockey Shift is eleven inches, I know the photo makes it look longer so that's why I mentioned that.
