Vespa 250ie cruises down the road nicely at 65-75 mph, but is also a dream in city traffic. Plenty of juice to pass on the highway and plenty of pick up to get out of the way in a hurry. This bike can hold its own on road trips. This bike looks like a scooter but rides like a motorcycle. I added engine guards and the large trunk so there is plenty of storage for a weekend getaway. 70% of the miles on this Vespa are highway miles. When I purchased this Vespa, I changed out the tan seat and back rest to black so this is a good looking bike for a man or a woman. Comes with a full size motorcycle cover. A new battery was installed last month.
I am selling this great motorcycle because my riding buddy died in February and I feel lost riding without him. I have taken the bike out a couple of times but without my riding buddy, it is just not the same. This bike needs someone who will take it out and enjoy riding.
