Other Sprint description

For the ladies, this is the second cutest little thing you can put between your legs.

Most people don't even know what a 'mo-ped' is, and think it is just a small motorcycle.  WRONG.  Its definition is very restrictive and LEGAL. The engine must be smaller than 50 cc, have automatic transmission, must be pedal-started and pedal-operable, it cannot move faster than 30 mph on level pavement (Incidentally, even 20 mph feels very fast, and you might not want to go faster!). The benefits of a mo-ped are important.  In Florida and most states you don't need insurance, helmet, or a motorcycle license.

This unit was bought by a friend (slightly used) in the late '90s for his young daughter, but she didn't use it much, then got old enough for a car.  It was never tagged for the street.  It sat for years in a warehouse.  I bought it for chasing parts at my little factory.  It was in sad shape and the fuel system was a mess.  I replaced the fuel valve and lines, and rebuilt the carb.  Also new tires and tubes.
I just had the carb rebuilt again.  The little machine is now perfect.  I have used it many times this week.

Includes (bug-eaten) original owner's manual and maintenance records since 2011.

I have now sold the factory and no longer chase parts, and use the bicycle for groceries, so the Tomos needs to find a new home.

Advisory: ANY time you don't expect to use the machine for more than a few days, you MUST turn off the fuel and run the carb dry.  This is because of the ethanol.  It gums the carb badly.  If ridden regularly it is a joy and pleasure.  Makes for a real contrast in your day, for short runs to the store or whatever.

Starting the machine requires good leg strength and a bit of (acquired) tactic.  You will figure it out.
