Other Sears Allstate Sabre description
This Sears Sabre 50cc has been found in a shed where it
has been sitting for decades. It needs work, but 95% complete and only has 570 miles. Built in Austria by Puch, sometime between 1964 and 1966. Not sure what year, but the model number is 810.89510 and the serial number is 8404910. I don't know when it was last registered, but it is out of the DMV system. The motor is complete, free and has good compression. The spark is blue and strong (kill switch needs cleaning though). It is currently a non-runner but it doesn't look like it'd take much to get it going (clean the tank and rebuild the carbs). The frame is straight and solid, little rust but someone decided to paint it with latex paint and a brush... The tank is rusted inside, but can be cleaned and only has a few minor dents. The wheels are off the bike (found like this), but in good shape. Needs new tires. It is missing one of the panels under the tank/seat (I have the other one), the airbox/filter, the wheels axles and a few nuts and bolts. Also have the chain guards and brakes. No title, but I'll write a bill of sale. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. If you'd like to see the bike, let me know. If you want the bike shipped, I'll work with you. For a small fee, I can deliver it within the Sacramento area. |
