1974 Other Makes Penton 250 Hare Scrambler on 2040-motos

Nice original Penton Hare Scrambler 250. If you want to win a vintage race, this is the bike you are going to do it on.

There is no title for this bike. Repeat, no title.

Last registered in NY in 1975. This bike has seen some use, but it is still very presentable, and can be ridden and enjoyed as it is. The list of parts it will need to be ready to roll is short- and relatively inexpensive.

I was just at the Mid Ohio swap meet, and I can tell you that I did not see any unrestored Pentons this nice. I saw one Hare Scrambler, for a little less money, but nowhere near as nice as this one.

The bike is realistically priced, and I have added the best offer feature if that interests you. 

If you have a hankering to go run enduros or scrambles, this is a nice example of a correct bike that will get you there with a minimum of effort. This bike presents well, and is a wheelie machine.
