1958 Other Makes Maico Taifun on 2040-motos

Beautifully restored 1958 Maico Taifun 400 cc . This was a low mileage original machine that was parked due to a stripped kicker gear and put away for over 30  + years. I purchased it and installed a new gear assembly and cosmetically restored it over 10 years ago. It was ridden approximately 50 miles and then drained and put on display in my office. It ran perfectly with everything functioning properly with exception of gear indicator in speedometer face, and I really don,t remember why that was not fixed. The chrome and paint is flawless and the only incorrect item is the mufflers ( I have some similar style mufflers that I would include ), I also have about 70% of a parts bike that I would include with it ( and no I will not separate anything yet ). It will need a new battery and possibly the carb cleaned. Bike is located in Lincoln Nebraska 68512 . I would assist on my end as much as possible with shipping.
