1956 MZ BK 350cc

The motorcycle was produced in German Democratic Republic in former DKW factory. It was their first after war design. First shown in 1951 in Leipzig as „DKW-Zweizylindermaschine”. Mass production started in the end of 1952 and lasted until 1959). The motorcycle was fitted with a two-stroke two-cylinder boxer engine 343cc with two carburetors, 15 HP at 5000 rpm, and Cardan shaft drive („BK' stands for „Boxer-Kardan”). The MZ BK 350 is very similar to its predecessor, IFA BK 350. The only differences are logo on fuel tank and the shape of the exhaust pipe. Years of production: 1956-1958. It was a popular motorcycle in DDR and other Eastern Bloc countries, about 41 000 units were sold. Top speed about 120 kph. This fine example has been beautifully restored and ready for any show or weekend romp.

Shipping: We sell world wide and we can assist with export if requested. Delivery to the Los Angeles area can be arranged for an extra $150.00 over the sale price of the motorcycle. We can also assist with domestic transport arrangements as well.

Payment: Payment in full is expected within seven days from the close of the auction. Payment can be made via bank wire transfer, direct bank deposit, company or personal check or cash in hand. We will also accept PayPal with NO fees applied to our account for the transfer! The motorcycle will not be released until all funds have cleared our account.
