PLEASE NOTE THERE IS *NO TITLE FOR THIS BIKE*- I WILL GIVE A HANDWRITTEN BILL OF SALE. THIS BIKE WAS IMPORTED IN 1974 AND THE ORIGINAL OWNER HAD NEVER GOTTEN A TITLE BACK IN 1974 FOR IT. EBAY FORCES ME TO CHOOSE SOMETHING IN ORDER TO LIST THIS BIKE. Sold as is- as found. One would be hard pressed to ever find another 1974 MZ TS-150 like this. This machine is all original. 87 miles. Yes! That's 87 miles! This machine runs and rides very well. It starts on the first kick. Sounds excellent- like it has 80 miles. No leaks or excessive smoke. It rides excellent and shifts through the gears smoothly. I have ridden it 50 miles this summer and is very fun. It has a nice smooth idle and plenty of power. The brakes work well and stop as intended. The only thing non original is the carburetor. The original Bing carb was removed and a Mikuni added. It made the machine more reliable with better performance. I do not have the original carb. Could use a new petcock ($15 on Ebay) but I use a inline petcock for now. All of the electronics work. New 6v battery. The headlight on both high and low beam using the original switch. The on/off run switch works. The ignition switch works in all positions and both neutral and high beam indicator lights work, speedometer(jumpy) and gauge lights work. The horn, both turn signals and tail light work. The only thing that does not work is the brake light. The bike presents very well. The tank has a few small scratches on the side. The chrome sides have some light crazing and small rust spots. MZ emblem faded as seen. The tank has some surface rust inside but serviceable and I have ran 1 gallon of fuel through. Original down to the Made in German Democratic Republic tires. I don't believe the German decals are original but easily removed. The chrome looks nice. There is very minimal to no rust on this machine and has not been polished or cleaned up. As found. The bike was always stored indoors in a climate controlled environment. A few small items I noticed are missing- The chain guard, license plate bracket, brake light wires, steering lock key and mirrors. There maybe a few small things that I overlooked so please view pics and ask questions. The original straight handlebars are very nice. The hand grips are deteriorated but available for less that $12 on Ebay. The seat looks nice with only 1 small spot of edge wear. The exhaust is nice. The down pipe is excellent. No dents, rash or rust through. It does have rust pitting on muffler as seen from sitting against an outside wall for a few years. As the story goes- The machine was owned by a man who passed away. He never titled the machine but did secure a Vermont registration many years ago. No title was ever issued. The old man was a tinkerer and adapted the Mikuni carburetor. Otherwise original and unmolested. The previous owner passed away before he could ever title the bike. ALMOST EVERY PART IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS MACHINE THROUGH MANY UK SELLERS. Email with questions.
