Very rare 1948 Famous James Comet. Motorcycle is original and was completely restored in 2008 by James Gainer of Fort Worth, Texas. He is famous as an expert and restorer of Famous James cycles.The bike has been garaged since its restoration and has not been ridden since then. Has 98 cc Villiers motor, 2 speed. Bike is complete. Engine does not run at present but is not frozen and shouldn't require much to get it going. Discoloration of chrome on gas tank picture is a reflection (artifact). Local pick up only.
