This '75 R90/6 is a bit of a show pony with beautiful cosmetics and expert tuning. It has a variety of original features and great components, including:  Bing carbs  five-speed transmission  new paint job  new bench seat with chrome rail & badge  Bridgestone Spitfire 11 tires  single-disc ATE front brake  Yuasa battery  center stand & Brown sidestand  bright exhaust system  aluminum turn signals  and more! Starts easily, idles reliably, and offers a butter-smooth ride.

Strong runner, starts every time.  Electrical all working.  The BMW R90/6 was the top of the line model that BMW offered at the time. Equipped with their largest engine at the time a 898cc unit that produces just under 60hp. It was an instant success.

This bike was purchased as a father son restoration project. We got most of the way through it but it has a few more hours to complete the job. My son moved off to college and I moved to the beach so it's time to move it on to someone else to enjoy.

 This is a beautiful example of a 1975 BMW R 90/6 motorcycle ,  it only has 55,000 miles on the odometer but it's had tons of mechanical work done in the last 5000 miles! It has a recovered seat, new drag style handlebars, new chrome motor protector, rebuild carburetors this summer, fires up and runs like a Swiss watch every time ,I would ride this motorcycle anywhere! It is mechanically as solid as the rock of Gibraltar!

BIKE RUNS ,,, SPEEDO IS IN KILOS & DOES WORK BUT I WILL NOT SWEAR TO THE INDICATED MILEAGE,,,   OVERALL PRETTY GOOD.    CERTAINLY NOT A TURD.  GIVE IT A WEEKEND OF LOVE & ENJOY MANY MILES OF MOTORING..-  TIRES HAVE SOME LIFE LEFT...  NEEDS MASTER CYLINDER REBUILT,  CARB FLOATS AND A CARB  CLEANING.  BOYER BRANDSEN IGNITION,,, E-Z PULL CLUTCH ATTATCHMENT,, BILLET  UPPER CLAMP, NAPOLEAN BAR END MIRRORS.  THIS HAD A GENERIC   LUFTMIESTER FARING THAT WAS IN LESS THAN DESIREABLE CONDITION SO THAT HAS BEEN TOSSED..  YOU WILL NEED TO SOURCE THE LAMP PORTION OF THE HEADLITE AS WELL AS THE TURN SIGNALS.    ****  STARTER HAD BEEN  REPLACED WHEN WE PICKED IT UP BUT,, EITHER THE RELAY NEEDS REPLACED OR YOU WILL NEED TO LOOK INTO THE STARTER BUTTON SWITCH AT HANDLE BAR.  I HAVE ACTIVATED  STARTER AT THE RELAY TERMINAL TO SUCCESSFULLY START BIKE.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,    CLUTCH DIS-ENGAGES, GEARBOX SEQUENCES AS DESIGNED.  HORN , TURN SIGNALS/LAMP AT REAR WORK AS WELL AS DASH LIGHTS..   STORAGE FOR A REASONABLE PERIOD IS FINE ,,, HELP WITH SHIPPING IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE AFTER THE SALE...***  CASH ON PICK UP OR POSTAL MONEY ORDER ONLY .   THANKS  FOR THE INTEREST

Excellent conditions, numbers matching. Restored at a very high level about 10 yrs ago in OHIO where I bought it on 2008 and shortly after imported to Italy where it currently is. Since then I haven't used it much and conditions are just about they were in 2008.

Very good overall condition, excellent paint on tank, fenders and side covers. >92,010 miles on odometer, but not accurate. >Runs excellent, starts easily, idles well.

I got this 90/6 with a Jawa side car rig so that I could take my dog with me to go riding and would not have to leave him at home by himself. That worked for about a year and now he won't get in it any more. So, it is for sale.
