1968 Other Makes on 2040-motos

This is a 1968 Italian Lambretta  x 200 special.  I bought it out of a barn in Washington state where it has been sitting since 1999. The person that I bought it from, got it from who he said was the original owner in payment for an unpaid debt. Prior to him getting it the previous owner had damaged the original engine and the had a completely rebuilt LI 150 engine put in it. The scooter was running when it was put into the barn and the engine spins freely. It has great compression. I did a compression test with no fuel in it and the compression is about 115 to 120 lbs. The speedometer was rolled  back to zero when the new motor was put it. I have a Washington state title in hand which shows all zeros on the mileage . There is no rust on this scooter. The body is in great condition with the only issues being a bent headlight surround and minor road rash on the bottom edge of the foot rest panel on the left side which is shown in the pics. This is not to say that the body is mint, just in very nice condition considering age  This is just the way I took it out of the barn, I haven't even given it a bath. The tail light is not mounted on the scooter but I have it. There is also a spare head light bulb in the original box. The original Lambretta tool kit is even there.  The frame number is 838687 and the motor number is 150 Li 74 2329. Great restoration project for the right person.  I live about an hour north of Seattle and am happy to help a shipper get this loaded. I have a ramp/ loading dock so it should be pretty easy to get into a vehicle. I will work with whatever shipper you choose but it will be up to you to contact a shipping company and make all arraingements. Since I have not tried to start this it is being sold as is. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and insurance costs.
