What I have here is an antique motor scooter. I was told that it may be a Comet. It's hard to find much information on it, but I think they were made in Minnesota in the 1940's. It's not complete. It's missing the side panels and the engine that is in it is not the original, but it's period correct. The engine is just sitting there, it's not bolted in. I did have the engine running a few years ago and it ran well then. It's a Briggs and Stratton. It wouldn't be too hard to restore this and then you would have something pretty unique.
I am unable to ship it, but you may pick it up at my home in central Wisconsin. Please be a responsible bidder. Pretty rare item. Starting at $100.00 with no reserve. I listed it as a 1948 and salvage title because I had too, but I don't know the year and there is NO TITLE. |
