Purchased new, and used in Nantucket for one week. I purchaced this scooter for vaccation as an inexpensive alternative to renting one ($480 per week). Scooter was delivered to my door, unpacking and set up was approximately 1 1/2 hours. After 15-20 minutes of breaking engine in on center stand I drained the factory engine oil and refilled with Yamalube 10W-40. After some research on any common problems or concerns with these scooters I found that the most common shall we say substandard parts were CDI units, ignition coils, spark plug, headlight bulbs, and drive belts. I purchaced an aftermarket ignition kit that consisted of the coil, cdi, and spark plug, also a spare headlight bulb, as well as an upgraded Gates premium drive belt, in case of any problems. Fortunately I had no issues with the scooter during the 188 miles I put on it, so all extra/spare parts go with the sale. I also purchased a new cover, along with a handlebar lock unit that will also be included. After the first 100 miles the engine idle needed to be adjusted, likely due to the breakin period. Scooter ran very well, averaged speeds of 35-40 MPH no problem, even with an occasional 2nd person onboard. I will change the engine oil again, and the rear drive fluid, and fill the tank with gas before final sale and pickup. If your looking for a scooter that's ready to go, tested, engine broke in, and plenty of new spare parts and accessories then this is the one, also has more than enough storage in rear compartment, under seat, and up front.
