I go these parts in a LARGE indian parts lot i purchased a couple years ago.  The stuff had been sitting in a post and beam barn for 3 or 4 decades.  this frame is absolutely CHERRY!!

i bought a LARGE barn full of indian parts a couple years ago  frames, engines, wheels, everything.  I've kept about 98% of all  of it.  i want to buy an indian four so I'm selling off some chief stuff   this engine is not a piece of junk, its been together its whole life, its been sitting at least 30 years if not even longer than that  its filthy and greasy from sitting so long but it is clean as a whistle underneath  no welds, no repairs, no cracks,  engine is complete, primary, trans, all good to go  i would definitely take it apart and inspect it before it gets put to use, though i bet it would run and ride  now.

this is a nice start to an indian chief here   this frame looks like its ALL original and i mean never even fully taken apart, never repainted  has been sitting like this for a LONG time  not your typical repaired and piece mealed frame, its very straight and original.  no welds or damage on the frame  nice original seat T, shifter setup, dash and dash plate.  complete chrome fork with lower tree and shock.
