1928 Other Makes 1928 Henderson on 2040-motos

Henderson/excelsior acquired from granddaughter of original owner. "Grandfather" purchased his Henderson in 1928 and rode it until the mid fifties, when it was retired. "Grandfather" traveled with a circus for years performing stunts and "shooting skeet" while standing on the floorboards. Note the upturned handlebars and worn down floorboards. After cleaning mag points and cleaning carb bowl the bike started in less than 10 kicks after sitting for 50+ years. We have only run less than 10 minutes, but she sounds really good. She smokes slightly, but that may clear up. Speedometer and generator are missing and headlight not correct, but overall a really nice old bike with a great patina that with minor work can be a good rider or the start of a complete restoration.
