1970 triumph tiger 650 spring gold (1970)
I bought my bike in Nov 1970 from another serviceman who bought it new from the triumph dealer in el paso, tx but was shipped out to Vietnam and had to sell. I used it as my primary means of trans to school and work during the early to mid 70s and had the bottom end and new pistons done by Bills Triumph in San Bernadino, Ca at 25k it has been garaged its whole life and last year I took it apart and polished every bolt washer and nut on it. I had the fenders, tank, side case and chain cover painted in orig colors and the painter researched the paint to get it just right. I put new tires battery and rubber fork covers on as well as the other misc rubber items. The bike runs exc all the chrome is orig and in exc cond. It shows it has been pampered I am selling as at 64 I find I have lost my nerve to ride anymore.2013-10-17 00:33:32Palm Springs, California, US37,15911,500.00
