Norton NOMAD description

.So.  Very rare 1960 Norton 600 Nomad, excellent unrestored condition.  Matching engine frame number(s) 15 82812.  Just completed ride and display at the Quail Gathering in Carmel, CA.  Went 100 miles+ with zero issues and didn't spew oil all over itself.  Runs, steers and stops like it should.

No battery installed, lights currently not operational but I would not expect any major issues, given the condition of the rest of the machine.

Video below photos shows the machine running, sound quality not so good, sorry.

I will assist with shipping details but will not crate.  Shipping otherwise the responsibility of the buyer.  Clean California title in hand.

Interested parties are welcome to call 408-364-5165, mornings best.  Cannot return calls out of USA.  I will answer questions promptly, good luck and thanks for looking.

Not sure if I've ever seen an XJR given the Cafe Racer treatment? Well, until now that is. Created by Italian motorcycle builders, Emporio Elaborazioni, 'The Hound' is based on an XJR1200.

Get the Flash Player to see this player. Short Synopsis: When a young man is confronted with his mortality, he takes a cross-country road trip on a vintage motorcycle (a Norton Commando). One Week tells the story of Ben Tyler (Joshua Jackson), in his mid-twenties, who flees from the confines of his life—an impending marriage, a job he’s not entirely happy with and a recent diagnosis—in order to attempt to live more fully.

Production of 650cc Norton models will start at the end of next year

Tue, 17 Nov 2020

In addition to the release of V4 and Commando models, the British plan to expand their lineup. The Norton V4 and Commando motorcycles, presented to the public in 2018, will not start rolling off the assembly line until the end of 2021. This is primarily due to the fact that Norton, owned by the Indian company TVS, is currently busy transferring production from Donnington Hall to Solihull.
