    Up for sale is my 1972 Yamaha at1 125. Is in very good condition always stored inside.fresh wesco piston and rings,new battery,fresh oil change,new 25ml carburetor,new turbo air cleaner . Only two hours on rebuild and then bike stopped getting a spark at the sparkplug, so it is currently not running,probably an issue with voltage regulator.

The DT2MX came standard with reed valve induction, a CDI ignition with button-mag and Yamaha’s Autolube system, which automatically mixed oil with the gas.       For sale is my 1972 Yamaha DS7 with an RD350 engine.   This project has been a labor of love for several years.  I am 57 years old and an enthusiast and I love building as much as riding.  It's simply time for a new project.  All work, including paint, was completed by me with the exception of crank bearings and bore/hone.  As a qualifier, I won MotoGP tickets in a Yamaha USA contest with this bike and First Place Yamaha Restoration for another project at the largest west coast two-stroke event in 2011.  The story:  Purchased as a runner in rough condition, I began the project with a complete disassemble and cleaning.  Then: -          Sandblasted and painted frame and brackets with PJ1 gloss black -          Replaced forks with “Forks by Frank” units – they are perfect. -          Replaced swing arm bushings with brass units. -          Progressive Suspension rear shocks -          “Gunfighter” seat cushion and cover from Nebraska (no Viet Nam) -          Like new seat pan and hinges -          Light weight and sealed battery -          Wiring harness is 100% original and clean with no cuts or mods.

The British motorcycle manufacturer announced the opening of the plant in Solihull and the readiness to produce up to 8,000 motorcycles per year. Not only production is located at the new location: from now on, the R&D department, the design center, and offices are based in Solihull. Norton reveals plans for the future

According to unofficial information, the plant plans to produce a sportbike that can compete with the Ducati 1299 Panigale and Superleggera IS. Norton's head of design, Simon Skinner, revealed that the bike will be powered by a brand new V4 1200cc engine and 200+ horsepower.

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

The stage is set for ”The Meet at ACM” motorcycle show this weekend in Tacoma, WA. While festivities will begin on Friday evening, America’s Car Museum (ACM) will host the third annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Organizers expect 450 vintage motorcycles and scooters from all over the nation to attend.

Kevin Schwantz To Race Goodwood Aboard Norton Featherbed

If you didn’t already notice, Kevin Schwantz has a full plate this year. At 50 years young, the 1993 500cc World Champion will be competing at the prestigious Suzuka 8-Hours in a few weeks, and he’s followed that up with the announcement he will be making his Goodwood Revival debut during the September 12-14 event on an iconic Manx Norton ‘Featherbed’. Schwantz, last raced on UK soil during the 1994 British 500cc Grand Prix at Donington Park, but will tackle the daunting Goodwood Motor Circuit this year in the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy, which will be run for bikes of 1951-54 period.
