Norton Commando description

Hi ! This is a good chance to get a complete Norton 750 commando for restoration . As you know nortons are through the roof price wise going for $12.000 plus so restoring the way you want it makes sense . I meet people all the time as I'm sure you do that pay $7-$8000 for a bike only to take it down and restore it ! What is the point of that ? $4000 in the trash can ! I need to see $3999 for the bike here and that will put you ahead of the game . there are no papers for the bike ! No title but I will give you a bill of sale . Now I know the bike was taken off the road because of gearbox problems ( main shaft) but I have the parts you need and I can put you in touch with my friend dean who is one of the best Norton guys on the planet. He is just up the road from me and he can do the box and go over the motor for you at a very responsible cost and that will leave you to paint and finish the frame wheels . By the time summer comes you will be riding and smiling . There is nothing like a Norton ask anyone who's had one . I can help with shipping all over the world at good rates.

Norton to Race Isle of Man TT with RSV4-Powered Prototype

Wed, 18 Apr 2012

Norton Motorcycles announced it will compete in the 2012 Isle of Man TT with a new racebike. The as-yet-unnamed racebike will use an Aprilia RSV4 engine with a chassis from Spondon Engineering. If that formula sounds familiar, it’s because it sounds like of MotoGP’s new Claiming Rule Team machines.

Price William The Duke Of Ducs And Other Motorcycles

Mon, 02 Dec 2013

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, visited Britain’s largest motorcycle show, Motorcycle Live, at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham. The visit saw the Duke astride numerous motorcycle models including UK icons Norton and Triumph as well as a Ducati 1199 Superleggera (one of the few men able to afford the $70,000 rarity). During his visit Prince William enjoyed a display of off-road riding – one of nine opportunities for visitors to ride at Motorcycle Live, eight of which are inside the halls of the NEC. He also met Dean Linehan, exhibitions director of MCI Exhibitions, the company that organizes the annual motorcycle exhibition.

Happy 50th Hizzy

Wed, 11 Jan 2012

On the 11th January 1962, Steve Hislop was born in Hawick, Scotland. Today would have been his 50th birthday, but he was tragically killed in a helicopter accident in 2003. Hizzy was a genius on a motorbike and when he was happy with everything around him, he was amongst the best in the world.
