SELL WORLDWIDE 1972 Norton Combat Commando, with clear title. The engine needs overhaul. Connecting rods rotate on journal, but broken piston pieces are jamming flywheels. Cam needs to be re-ground. Lifters and push rods are missing. Cylinder head has been re-sleeved. Combat Head has the "C" stamped on it. Valves and rockers are installed. I recommend overhaul. Exhaust threads are very good. Spark plug threads are very good. Transmission seems good, shifts good. Clutch and primary seem good. All cables need to be replaced. Front hydraulic line needs to be replaced. Seat needs recovering. Gas cap and fuel petcocks are missing. Centerstand works well. Side stand is missing. Any motorcycle parts that you do not see are NOT included. Norton Motorcycles Purchases Donington Hall Estate, Moves From the Race Track to the Manor
Fri, 15 Mar 2013Norton Motorcycles has acquired the Donington Hall estate in the U.K., including its 25 acres of land from airline company British Airways. The property also includes the 45,000 square foot Hastings House facility will become Norton’s new production facility and design studio. Until now, Norton has been operating out of the Donington Park circuit, which was formerly part of the Donington Hall estate.

2013 Norton Commando 961 Lineup Gets CARB Approval

The 2013 Norton Commando 961 SE, Café Racer, Sport and SF (Sport Factory) are now certified for the state of California. All Norton Commando models are powered by 961cc parallel twin engines.
