Purchased from Rick McEldrey in 1991. He bought it with 6,000 miles on it and changed the oil every 1,000 miles. When I bought it, it had 11,313 miles on it.

Chassis/Body: 1971; 1973 front disc hydraulic brake w/BMW patterned cross-drilling by owner; stock rear brake; tail/brake light wiring incorporated into frame; all removable parts either polished by Whetnall's Polishing by Joe Whetnall personally (aluminum) or polish chrome plated by Art Brass, Inc. (Seattle), and Mastercraft Metal Finishing, Inc. (Seattle). The rear reflectors are 1960's vintage.

Controls: Metalwork and painting (except striping) by owner done in 1994. Currently has 27.7 miles on new speedometer that was replaced in 1994. BMW handlebar and handle grips selected for owner's anatomical comfort. 1973 Norton handlebar switches selected to match 1973 Norton disc brake control. Satin black powder-coating on master cylinder by owner.

Bodywork: Bodywork and metal finishing by Owner using Glasurit solvent based materials, including epoxy primer/filler after full striping of old paint. All paint work hand sanded and hand rubbed, and air-dried. Paint by Owner except hand pin-striping by Dunn Autographics per design and colors specified by Owner emphasizing 1950's era Norton striping motifs.

Engine/Clutch Package: 750 cc. Commando engine with approximately 100 miles on full rebuild by prior owner, Rick McEldrey, featuring case milled to accept BMW needle bearing main bearings.
