Black Roadster with stock gold and custom red striping by Roy Dunn. New Glasurit paint, new chrome, and clear coated (Glasurit) polished aluminum by Whetnalls. New lowered seat. Metal tank has been preemptively corrosion treated. 1969 750cc Commando engine with BMW needle-bearing main bearings. Converted to Amal carbs. 850 Clutch disks. BMW handle bar w/BMW grips. 1971 frame w/upright & side kick-stand. 1974 front hydraulic Lockheed brake, with rotor cross-drilled to BMW specs. Stock rear brake. All new rubber pegs. New Avon tires. New old stock original mufflers/exhaust pipes. Rough Dunstall mufflers included. Massive NOS parts, gaskets, and accessories included. As new black cotton garage cover. Same owner since 1991. Full rebuild file available. always garage kept.

And the symbol of the beginning of this era will be the Norton V4SV sportbike, presented at once in two versions: Manx and Carbon. While festivities will begin on Friday evening, America’s Car Museum (ACM) will host the third annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Organizers expect 450 vintage motorcycles and scooters from all over the nation to attend.
11 Teams Still in Running to Enter MotoGP in 2012 Season
Thu, 19 May 2011The International Motorcycling Federation announced 11 teams have passed the latest round of applications for the 2012 MotoGP season. MotoGP promoter Dorna and the International Road Racing Teams Association selected 11 new teams representing 16 riders to continue with the application process for the 2012 season. Applicants submitted detailed plans for participation to the IRTA by May 14.
