1973 model. MFG date Nov 1972. Serial number 31833. Runs and drives great. Right side shift. 6872 miles on box "A" clean AZ title, but has 850 engine with serial number VC097359. I have the bare original cases with matching serial number VK31833.
Gas tank has been lined and fresh paint on bodywork. New K&N air filters. New aftermarket Conti style mufflers, accessory handlebar switch. Barnet twist throttle assembly. Disc brake front end with Honda master cylinder. Broken fin by right side plug. Tires are barely worn, but rather old. I would leave you to replace with your choice of Brand.

Piaggio Announces 2011-2014 Business Plan – More Hybrids and Electric Models In the Pipeline
Wed, 14 Dec 2011The Piaggio Group revealed its business plans for the next three years with a focus on developing fuel efficient engines and introducing new electric motors and hybrid powertrains. Beginning in 2012, Piaggio plans to introduce a new generation of engines with lower emissions and improved fuel economy. Examples include the new 350cc engine introduced in the Piaggio Beverly SportTouring and the fuel-injected 125cc four-stroke, three-valve engine equipped in the Vespa Quarantasei concept (which the company has apparently, and quietly, renamed as the much easier-to-pronounce Vespa 946).

Wed, 30 May 2018Expect to see the Moto Guzzi V85 production model at EICMA Last November, Moto Guzzi presented its V85 concept, an adventure-touring model powered by a new air-cooled 850cc V-Twin. Based on the comments in our EICMA show coverage, the V85 concept was very well received by MO readers. If you’re one of those who liked the concept, you’ll be happy to learn that Piaggio has filed a design patent for what looks to be the final production model, and it does not stray too far from the original concept.
Piaggio Reports First Half 2011 Results
Wed, 27 Jul 2011The Piaggio Group reported slight increases in net sales and net profit over the first six months of 2011 compared to the same period in 2010. Net sales increased 1.1% to 830 million euros (US$1.19 billion) over the first six months of 2011, compared to 820 million euros (US$1.18 billion) in the first half of 2010. Piaggio reported a net profit of 33.3 million euros (US$47.9 million), a slight increase from the net profit of 33.1 million euros (US$47.6 million) reported last year.
