Weighing just over 420lbs ready to ride, the V7 Special offers a low seat height, relaxed foopeg position and a comfortable wide bar for great leverage and riding ease. Owing to it's relatively light weight and smooth V-twin power delivery, the V7 never hunts for the correct gear and has abundant torque for stoplight to stoplight sprints, or your favorite hill country rides. The V7 Special offers a few benefits not found on its other V7 siblings, in addition to the two tone paint found on the all metal fuel tank, the V7 special also has chromed spoke wheels and chrome accents, as well as a color matched rear fender. Piaggio confirmed it will introduce the new Aprilia Caponord 1200 and Moto Guzzi California 1400 to the U.S. market this fall. The announcement was made at Piaggio Group Americas’ dealer convention in Miami, Fla.

2019 Moto Guzzi V85 TT is Officially Official

Wow, I think we like this one. “The fundamental concepts at the heart of the V85 TT project are simplicity, ease and practicality, values typical of those ’80s enduro bikes that could be used for anything, from the daily commute to adventurous trips, yet also values that are gradually getting lost in an increasingly homologated market, where ranges favor significant size and weight,” reads one small part of Moto Guzzi’s 4,000-word press release announcing the V85 TT. The main items are that the new 853cc air-cooled 90-degree two-valver – the “eight and a half” – delivers maximum power of 80 horses and 80 Nm at 5,000 rpm, with 90% of said torque available at 3,750 rpm.

Earlier this month, we wrote about a recall in Canada for the 2012-2013 Moto Guzzi Griso, Norge GT 8V and Stelvio NTX 1200 8V because of a problem with their rear suspension systems. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has also announced recall for the U.S. market, revealing more information about the issue.
