With revised single throttle body fuel injection by Magneti Marelli, and new cylinder heads that boost power AND fuel economy, the V7 is a poignant reminder of how simple and fun the experience of riding a motorcycle can be. Weighing just over 420lbs ready to ride, the V7 Special offers a low seat height, relaxed foopeg position and a comfortable wide bar for great leverage and riding ease. You might think think that such a refined and relaxed seating position might lead to an unexciting ride, but you would be wrong. The V7 now boasts 50hp and a top speed over 110mh. Owing to it's relatively light weight and smooth V-twin power delivery, the V7 never hunts for the correct gear and has abundant torque for stoplight to stoplight sprints, or your favorite hill country rides. The V7 Special offers a few benefits not found on its other V7 siblings, in addition to the two tone paint found on the all metal fuel tank, the V7 special also has chromed spoke wheels and chrome accents, as well as a color matched rear fender. Guzzi World Days 2011: Moto Guzzi Celebrates 90th Birthday

A record crowd of over 20,000 landed in Mandello del Lario, Italy, for Giornate Mondiali Guzzi (Guzzi World Days) to celebrate Moto Guzzi’s 90th anniversary. The first Guzzi World Days event since 2007, the three-day celebration attracted thousands of enthusiasts representing about 52 different countries around the world. Visitors got to see the restoration efforts on historic Moto Guzzi landmarks including its famous wind tunnel, the first to be used by a motorcycle manufacturer to test aerodynamics.

If you’re in the market for a rare vintage motorcycle, however, it may behoove you to give Tom or his brother, Ralph, an old fashion phone call. 2012 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone, V7 Special and V7 Racer

Moto Guzzi presented its 2012 V7 featuring three models and the Piaggio-owned brand’s new 750cc V-Twin engine. The three models were previously introduced at the 2011 EICMA show as the V7, two-toned V7 Special and the shiny V7 Racer. Moto Guzzi has since given the matte V7 version a new name: the V7 Stone.
