Moto Guzzi V11 Sport LeMans description
Great bike but a bit too big and sporty for this old guy. I've had it about 4 years and think I've put on less then 1000 miles. When I bought it from the bay area I had it completely gone through by Werkstatt Motorcycle Racing and Repair, which is Ed Milich's shop... serious Guzzi guys! They went through it top to bottom replacing and tweaking whatever needed to be done. I have the receipts somewhere but am still unpacking and getting organized from a recent move, when I find them you can have them. That was around $1600 worth of service. It also has fresh Metzler Sportec M3's front and back.
Sounds and rides fantastic with that deep throaty Guzzi sound. No issues and no warning lights, just toss a leg over and ride! The only issues I can think of with the bike are that the front fender has cracks that have been glued and the seat release is just the cable end pull. Nothing big but wanted to point it out. There was chip in the paint on the tank as well that has been hit with touchup. I recommend an inspection prior to completing check out, there are no Guzzi shops around here but Hansens BMW/Ducati is about 10 miles away and I would gladly have them look it over if you like. On Jun-14-16 at 13:22:48 PDT, seller added the following information: Finally found the receipts for the work performed by Werkstatt, $1396, not $1600 but I can't find the receipt for the tires which were a few hundred bucks. |

Vintage Bike Stash Found in Ohio
Mon, 05 Mar 2012Brim’s Imports is a vintage motorcycle shop disguised as a used car dealership, and chances are you’ve never heard of the place or its proprietor, Tom Brim. If you’re in the market for a rare vintage motorcycle, however, it may behoove you to give Tom or his brother, Ralph, an old fashion phone call. A website does exist, brimsimport.com, but its for searching the inventory of late model car and truck parts — the cash flow supporting Tom’s motorcycle obsession.
New Moto Guzzi V850X Coming as a Modern V7
Tue, 21 Dec 2021Production special a technical heir to the V7 Moto Guzzi is preparing a new special edition model based on the V7 but with modern styling. Spy photos of a camouflaged test bike were first uncovered by Moto.it in late October, leading to speculation that it would appear at EICMA along with the V100 Mandello. That obviously didn’t happen, but Motorcycle.com can confirm that the bike is on the way, and will be called the Moto Guzzi V850X.

Triumph and Moto Guzzi, motorcycle manufacturers from two very different regions of Europe, both have long storied histories with plenty of ups and downs. The British brand dates back to 1902, two decades before Moto Guzzi began manufacturing in 1921.
