Moto Guzzi T3 description

1980 Moto Guzzi 850 cc T3 (T3 designation means it has 3 disks for the disk brakes). This bike has an older restoration with a very nice paint job and nice set of custom turn signals. It also has stainless brake lines and a nice fairing and windshield.  Somebody spent a lot of money restoring this bike. The odometer indicates 14293 but I have no way of verifying the mileage. Speedometer and odometer work fine and horn and lights also work.   Only problems I know of are that the left side turning signals recently stopped working, and the tires have some weather cracking even though they have good tread. I took the bike on a trade last year and have ridden it some but not a lot. It starts, runs and rides great but new owner will probably want to change the fluids and tune it up. The tank doesn't have any rust.   No dents or scraps and the seat is in great shape. Chrome is good.  Also have a dual seat that can go with the bike if you want it (see pictures)  I can provide dry storage for a reasonable amount of time and I will help load the bike.  Call me if you have questions,  home: 918-589-4140  or cell: 918-804-4379.

Wrapping up what we learned at the Fall motorcycle shows The new model announcement season is an exciting time for motorcyclists, as it’s when we get our first glance at all the latest motorcycles being released in the upcoming year. While AIMExpo, with its extremely early event date (starting on September 22nd), was short on new models, EICMA blew the doors off of 2018 with no less than 37 different new bikes that we covered here on MO. 2017 AIMExpo Show Coverage 2017 EICMA Show Coverage On our side of the ocean, the Progressive International Motorcycle Show (IMS) included, as usual, Long Beach, California, giving the American motorcycle industry and public its first chance to see, throw a leg over, and, in some cases, take a test ride on one of the new models.

Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.

Piaggio Reports Q3 2011 Results

Tue, 01 Nov 2011

Piaggio announced a net profit of 46.3 million euros (US$63.3 million) over the first nine months of 2011. That represents a slight dip from the 46.7 million euros (US$63.8 million) over the same period of 2010, but still respectable numbers in the face of a shrinking market for motorcycles in Europe. The decrease in profit comes despite a 2.0% increase in net sales, with Piaggio taking in 1.20 billion euros (US$1.64 billion) over the first three quarters.
