Moto Guzzi Other description

Up for consideration is this very rare 1997 Moto Guzzi Daytona RS. This is the big dog of the bunch (4 valve engine/WP suspension/all the high end components) This one has been kept unmolested & complete pretty much as she was offered by Moto Guzzi. Believed to be 1 of 30 some examples in North America.

This one owned by mature enthusiast has been well sorted & has the following expensive upgrades completed - staintune exhaust/upgraded oil pump system/Creedon Chip & relays, everything works as it should. Only aesthetic imperfection that has appeared was over the last year the speedometer lens has started to spiderweb not sure why? California Clocks can refurbish if new owners wish to pursue. All upgrades & care have been performed by well known and recognized MG service facility.

Known for their 1970s-inspired style, the V7s are built, according to Moto Guzzi press materials, “to three fundamental pillars: the 90° transverse V-twin, the timeless double cradle frame and the renowned cardan shaft final drive.” Well, one of these pillars gets a functional update for 2014. The engine now utilizes a wet flywheel instead of the previous dry alternator.

Tue, 04 Oct 2016

Moto Guzzi clearly believes that naked carbon fiber is the new black. Just look at the 2017 MGX–21. Well, the Audace Carbon is following the same eye-catching design cues – which makes sense since both motorcycles are based on the same California 1400 platform.
