1973 Moto Guzzi Eldorado 850Mileage: 50,870 mis Features Engine size (cc): 850 Type: Cruiser Exterior color: Black For Sale is a classic Moto Guzzi Eldorado with less than 4000 mile since complete rebuild/restore of all mechanical, electrical systems. New Nikasil lined cylinders, new - valves - guides - pistons - bearings - seals - clutch - electrical wiring and components, refinished crank, and rebuild of transmission & drive system, brakes..ect... simply this bike is as good as new. There are no dents, dings in the tank and the Borrani aluminum wheels are in great shape as is chrome and rubber. This Eldorado came with a 5 gear transmission with standard shift and brake layout. The only part of the bike that was not painted was the gas tank. It was left with the original patina and worn pin striping to give the bike a clean vintage look. Bike starts, runs and handles great, and is ready to be ridden anywhere. Dual Fian Horns are as loud as they get on any vehicle. Comes with both the buddy seat and rear luggage rack option, and has as windscreen. A copy of Dave Richardson's "Guzziology", a reference guide to everything Guzzi, is included with the sale, as is the original owners manual, restoration receipts, and shop manual.

EICMA 2012: Moto Guzzi California 1400 Custom and Touring Versions Revealed

Last week, we got a peak at the new touring version of the Moto Guzzi California 1400, the new flagship cruiser from the Italian brand. Piaggio has now presented the new California 1400 at the 2012 EICMA Show in both its touring trim and the custom version pictured above. The new Moto Guzzi California 1400 is powered by a 1380cc V-Twin engine, which Piaggio claims is the largest V-Twin produced by an European manufacturer.

Classic Japanese Bikes Highlight Bonhams’ Next Auction

Bonhams’ annual fall auction, the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, at Stafford County Showground is scheduled for October 20, 2013. Included in the auction is the above pictured 1974 Kawasaki H1-RW 500cc triple. Expected to sell for approximately $96,000 to $112,000, the Japanese works Grand Prix racer is one of only two machines built by the factory for the French Kawasaki importer SIDEMM for use in the 500cc World Championship. The bikes were ridden during the 1974 season by the French endurance racing specialist Christian Léon and French-Canadian Formula 750 star Yvon Duhamel.

Because of the pandemic, however, the Piaggio-owned brand had to postpone its Moto Guzzi World Days 2021 Festival to 2022, celebrating its centennial on what would actually be its 101st year. Nevertheless, Moto Guzzi proceeded to announce what would have been the highlight of the festival: a new Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello model and plans to build a new futuristic factory on its historic home in Mandello del Lario, Italy.
