Moto Guzzi Norge 1200 description

I am selling my 2007 Norge so that I can apply the funds towards a motorhome. I am close to retirement and have gotten ill and the motorhome makes more sense right now. I am the second owner and have owned it since spring of 2012. I bought it from All Seasons Moto Guzzi in Wooster Ohio. I have only put about 4500 of it's 20,500 miles on it. I have met and conversed with the original owner at a Guzzi breakfast and know all the history of the bike. Never down, always garaged and babied, ton's of accessories. If you know the bike you know it comes with ABS, Electrically adjustable windshield, Heated grips, Shaft Drive, Fuel Injected. Probably things I have forgotten.
I will list below the things John (previous owner) did to it, and then the things I have done to it.

Original owner
Russell Day Long seat
Handle Bar Risers
12V SAE plug on Handlebars
12V Automotive type (cigarette) plug on Handlebar
Ram Mount Ball on handle bar
Engine Case Guards (protectors)
Audiovox Electronic Cruise Control
OE plastic fuel filter with Metal one
Front Springs changed to Progressive
Trunk and the forum suggested secure fix so it won't fall off.

I've done
Running lights down on front forks
Taller windshield. (Cee Baily) I have shorter one if you prefer. I am 6'1 and with this windshield I can look over it nicely when down and hide behind it in the rain.
LED license plate frame (Tail light Led strip across the bottom of it)
Lot's of automotive grade reflecterized tape (all removable if you don't like it) on the back of the bike and lot's hidden in the sides of the bike as well. I've ridden for 48 years and I want to be seen!!!!
Brand new front and rear (less than 300 miles) Metzlet Z8 Interact tires,
Brand new, 3 weeks ole Shorai Lithium Ion battery. Light as a feather
Additional Horn. Low tone "wolo" horn.

I had no intentions of selling this bike. Things change quickly.

The engine guards have some minor scratching on them where I had highway pegs installed on them and they dug into the paint. And the right side of the gas tank, just to the right of the filler cap has a couple of very small undersurface bumps that have been there since new. It seems the gas tank on this Guzzi (all?) is plastic (not Steel, not aluminum but plastic) and this is a place where the paint or primer did not adhere properly. So at first glance it looks like an bubble trying to come through, but it is not. It will not grow, it will not migrate, it will not expand. It is what it is and will stay that way. I can't even get a good picture to show it. Almost not noticeable but I need to give full disclosure.

So there you have it. An awesome bike waiting for someone to appreciate it the way I do. Great throaty sound and a distinctive brand that draws admiring looks. Feel free to ask questions. God's best to you.

Transport Canada announced a recall for the 2012-2013 Moto Guzzi Griso 8V, Norge GT 8V and Stelvio 1200 NTX because of a problem with the rear suspension. Piaggio Patents Design for Moto Guzzi V85 Production Model

Wed, 30 May 2018

Expect to see the Moto Guzzi V85 production model at EICMA Last November, Moto Guzzi presented its V85 concept, an adventure-touring model powered by a new air-cooled 850cc V-Twin. Based on the comments in our EICMA show coverage, the V85 concept was very well received by MO readers. If you’re one of those who liked the concept, you’ll be happy to learn that Piaggio has filed a design patent for what looks to be the final production model, and it does not stray too far from the original concept.
