Moto Guzzi Moto Guzzi EV description

I've owned this bike for 4 years,I've put 35000 miles on it.It's a great motorcycle ,This bike has no issues ,it starts instantly, runs awesome, the Neds comfort seat make 600 mile days easy for you and your passenger.I regularly get 45miles to the gallon.I've always used synthetic motor oil 20/50 in summer 10/40 in winter.the engine uses no oil,the transmission shifts like butter. The tires should be good through next spring . I just replaced all  brake pads front and rear.

I was tired  of the original black and blue color scem of the bike ,I found this very nice  Guzzi  Special Sport red and black tank (very rare) on line ,I always liked colors of that bike .I added the chrome fenders to complete the look I was after.I sold the original tank and fenders on ebay two years ago.

This bike is adult owned and meticulously maintained, comes with a clear Missouri title, two sets of keys, original owners manual and tool kit

Extras :  40 liter Hepco Becker saddle bags and mounts ,Harpers outsider oil filter, Swanee fairing with new extra large lexan windshield ,Neds day long comfort seat (much better then the stock seat), custom built heavy duty trailer hitch, Police bars (wider ,more comfortable for long rides), larger 7 inch Bassa chrome headlight and mounts, taller passenger back rest.

The bike is located one mile  off  I-44 at the Dixon exit .120 miles west of  St. Louis. There is a shuttle from  Lambert airport (in St.louis) to Fort Leonard Wood a couple times a day for a reasonable cost. You could fly in I could pick you up on Ft. Wood  only 5 miles. You could ride the bike home.

Piaggio Announces 2011-2014 Business Plan – More Hybrids and Electric Models In the Pipeline

Wed, 14 Dec 2011

The Piaggio Group revealed its business plans for the next three years with a focus on developing fuel efficient engines and introducing new electric motors and hybrid powertrains. Beginning in 2012, Piaggio plans to introduce a new generation of engines with lower emissions and improved fuel economy. Examples include the new 350cc engine introduced in the Piaggio Beverly SportTouring and the fuel-injected 125cc four-stroke, three-valve engine equipped in the Vespa Quarantasei concept (which the company has apparently, and quietly, renamed as the much easier-to-pronounce Vespa 946).
