Over the past year, the brand merger showed a 1.3% increase in sales to 611,300 units, of which 399,600 units (+1.6%) were two-wheeled vehicles. Sales statistics in the Asia-Pacific region improved markedly, with a 14.5 percent increase.

This uber rare 1954 AJS E95, aka The Porcupine, may become the most expensive motorcycle in the world. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will handle auctioning of an ultra-rare 1954 AJS E95 during the Pebble Beach Car Week held annually in August at the Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel, Calif. Bonhams estimates that due to the rarity of the E95 (only four were completed by British brand AJS) it may see a bid as high as $750,000.

Moto Guzzi tuner Ghezzi-Brian unveiled a new motard based on the Moto Guzzi Griso. Available either as a whole motorcycle or as a ready-to-install kit for a Moto Guzzi Griso, the Ghezzi-Brian V-Twin Motard turns the Italian eagle brand’s roadster into a supermoto. The V-Twin Motard even fooled some of the motorcycle press into thinking it was a new Moto Guzzi Stelvio production model when a prototype was caught by spy photographers.
