Moto Guzzi Ambassador description

1971 Moto Guzzi Ambassador , 1971 Moto Guzzi Ambassador. Rare, good original condition, not reconditioned or restored, numbers matching frame & engine. 22,769 miles. Built August 1971. Very clean factory paint & original seat. Bike comes with, period correct, wixom ranger saddle bags & wixom fairing,. DB footboards. Guzzi V7 luggage rack. Original owners manual. Perfect for the Guzzi collector. I've had this beautiful vintage motorcycle for the last 10 years, but other projects have taken my time, and it needs to find a new loving home. It was last ridden 3 years ago, and will need a new battery, and probably the carbs cleaned. I'll be sorry to see this bike go, but it needs to be on the road, not sitting in the garage. $ 5000. Serious and knowledgable inquires only. Please call 937.506.8416 for more info. No text messages please. More photos on request. A must see classic. $5,000.00 9375068416

Guzzi's entry-level roadster gets new cylinder heads and other updates Credit: Photos by Max Tanbara After 50 years of production, an Italian classic much like Joe Pesci and Spaghetti O’s, the Moto Guzzi V7 Stone is now onto its third iteration of Guzzi’s most popular bike. Doses of change have come alongside the new roman numeral for this entry-level classic that remains a quality and affordable standard. 2017 Moto Guzzi V7 III Stone Editor Score: 82.0% Engine 17.0/20 Suspension/Handling 13.0/15 Transmission/Clutch 7.0/10 Brakes 8.0/10 Instruments/Controls 3.0/5 Ergonomics/Comfort 8.0/10 Appearance/Quality 9.0/10 Desirability 8.0/10 Value 9.0/10 Overall Score 82/100 With Moto Guzzi’s signature longitudinally mounted 744cc air-cooled powerplant protruding from its gills, wrapped in a classic-bike bun, alongside modern features such as ABS and traction control, the V7 III Stone is a solid package for the pleasantly affordable $7,990 price tag.

Trying to distort the concept of cafe racer as little as possible, Radical Guzzi specialists in their latest work pursued two goals: speed and style. The concept was developed by former BMW designer Sylvain Berneron. The 1200cc twin Moto Guzzi Griso has been pumped up to almost a liter and a half, equipped with a 1400 California cylinder-piston group.

Piaggio Announces 2011-2014 Business Plan – More Hybrids and Electric Models In the Pipeline

Wed, 14 Dec 2011

The Piaggio Group revealed its business plans for the next three years with a focus on developing fuel efficient engines and introducing new electric motors and hybrid powertrains. Beginning in 2012, Piaggio plans to introduce a new generation of engines with lower emissions and improved fuel economy. Examples include the new 350cc engine introduced in the Piaggio Beverly SportTouring and the fuel-injected 125cc four-stroke, three-valve engine equipped in the Vespa Quarantasei concept (which the company has apparently, and quietly, renamed as the much easier-to-pronounce Vespa 946).
