Moto Guzzi Ambassador description

Low Reserve Up for grabs is my beautiful 1970 Moto Guzzi pictures words don't truly describe the condition of the bike. The bike runs, rides, shifts, and pulls through every gear just like it came off the showroom floor back in 1970. The bike is a true time piece that spent the last 22 years on display. Recently I went on a 100 mile ride with her and she rode beautifully with no hick ups at all. Tires are in great shape with around 200 miles on them, all fresh fluids and a new Duracell Ultra dry cell battery were installed last month. The paint is in great condition There is one small tiny chip on the front left hand side of the tank please view the pictures to see in detail. This Moto Guzzi would make an excellent piece in anyone's collection. I encourage all bidders to come view the bike in person or send a certified mechanic to view the bike on your behalf. Again please view the pictures and call at 619-818-4434 for any questions and/or more pictures. This bike is being sold locally and I do reserve the right to end option early. Thanks again and happy bidding.

Piaggio Reports Q1 2013 Results

Mon, 06 May 2013

The Piaggio Group reported an 11.6% drop in net sales for the first quarter of 2013, the result of a struggling economy and unseasonably cold weather in Europe and a flatlining two-wheeler market in Vietnam. There was however some good news in North America, Vespa sales in India and a 27.8% increase in Moto Guzzi sales. According to the company’s first quarter report, Piaggio reported net sales of 303.4 million euros (US$396.8 million), down from net sales of 343.1 million euros reported the same quarter of 2012.

Moto Guzzi Revives V7 in US

Mon, 05 Jan 2009

If contemporary society has taught us anything, it is that few things are held as sacred. Shameless film and television remakes are rampant while musicians sample (steal) any beats or mixes they deem suitable that will gain their crumby creation attention. In regards to motorcycles, there are times when retro-inspired modern engineered creations work, like the Triumph Thruxton for instance.

Mac Motorcycles

Thu, 28 May 2009

British motorcycle design studio Xenophya Design and product designer Ellis Pitt have teamed up to produce a new company, Mac Motorcycles. Based out of Upton-Upon-Severn in Worcestershire, England, Mac Motorcycles will produce a line of bikes powered by Buell’s air-cooled single cylinder 492cc engines used in the Blast, with a tubular backbone frame. On the company’s website, Pitt describes its bikes as being simple to maintain, include references and details from choppers and bobbers and feature “Harley posture, flat-track manners, Ducati handling”.
