Moto Guzzi 850T tech info
Moto Guzzi 850T description
1975 Moto Guzzi 850T with the following enhancements:
1000cc cylinders (more grunt!) "T2" conversion (dual front disc brakes, with stainless braided lines), greatly improves braking feel and stopping power) Premium wheel bearings front and rear including driveshaft/spline bearings. Permanent Magnet Gear Reduction (PMGR) high torque starter (cranks engine faster, uses less power to do it) Barnett Clutch. Bar-end turn signals (visible from both the front and rear, eliminating the need for rear turn signal stalks.) Avon RoadRider tires front and rear (excellent condition) IKON rear shocks (adjustable) Helical cam gear conversion (rock solid cam/ignition timing, smoother more stable idle, no more timing chain worries, eliminating the terrible stock timing chain tensioner that never worked.) Solid state adjustable voltage high current voltage regulator. Dyna-S Electronic Ignition (no more points!) BMW mufflers (nice deep throaty tone, (has additional baffles currently installed, can be removed if you wish for louder pipes), see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1TOemDfR8E) Powder coated frame (Black Lava frame, Black side covers, black highlights on crash bars, triple trees, etc) Blacked out engine (it just looks sexier in my opinion) Notes for full disclosure: There are a few minor scratches on the tank where the seat meets it. There's a small ding in the tank on the right front side, its very shallow and hard to see unless you get the light on it just the right way. There are a few minor paint chips on the engine. A can of paint (PJ-11 flat black engine paint) used to paint the engine will be provided for any future touch ups if needed. Get on and RIDE! Why am I selling? I personally love this bike, however I'm pretty tall (6'3") with long legs and this bike fits someone shorter better than it fits me, this should fit anyone from 5'6" upwards. I also have a pile of medical bills that need to be paid and hopefully parting with "my baby" will cover them all. Health is more important than my bike, I can always build another one next time around. The 850's are getting rare, and finding a pretty one like this is like finding hen's teeth. On completion of auction, a NON REFUNDABLE deposit of $100 by paypal within 48 hours of auction completion will be required, otherwise I reserve the right to sell to the next bidder in line. Balance of payment by CASH or CASHIERS (bank) CHECK, preferrably drawn on a local or nationwide USA bank only. Don't ask for any other payment options. Shipping/Pickup is the responsibility of the buyer. I can ride to a local dealer within 30 miles if you wish to arrange shipping details with them (payment must be completed in FULL before shipping). The bike is located about 30 minutes south of Rochester, NY. |

2017 Moto Guzzi MGX-21 Flying Fortress First Ride Review
Mon, 08 Aug 2016An Italian interpretation of the American bagger Credit: Photos by Kevin Wing and Evans Brasfield Way back in 2013, Moto Guzzi said that the revamped California 1400 was the platform for a line of models, and we watched it grow from the initial pair of the California 1400 Custom and the hard-bagged California 1400 Touring to include in the 2016 model year the Audace and the El Dorado – though both fail to mention their California roots in their names. Into this family, Moto Guzzi lands the formidable MGX-21 Flying Fortress. 2017 Moto Guzzi MGX-21 Flying Fortress Editor Score: 84.25% Engine 17.25/20 Suspension/Handling 11.5/15 Transmission/Clutch 8.25/10 Brakes 9.0/10 Instruments/Controls 4.25/5 Ergonomics/Comfort 8.0/10 Appearance/Quality 9.0/10 Desirability 9.0/10 Value 8.0/10 Overall Score 84.25/100 2013 Moto Guzzi California Review: Emissary Of The New Guzzi – Video 2015 Moto Guzzi California 1400 Touring – First Ride Review + Video 2016 Moto Guzzi Audace – First Ride Review 2016 Moto Guzzi Eldorado – First Ride Review 2014 EICMA: Moto Guzzi MGX-21 Concept Since the American cruiser market is the largest in the world and Sturgis is one of the largest motorcycle rallies in the world, setting an attendance record of 739,000 last year on its 75th anniversary, Moto Guzzi has waded into the belly of the beast by releasing the MGX at a booth on Main St.
2022 Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello First Look
Tue, 23 Nov 2021First production motorcycle with active aerodynamics After teasing us with a preview of the new 2022 Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello in September, the Piaggio Group released further details on the new sport-touring model at EICMA. The Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello is named for the brand’s 100th anniversary and its historic home in Mandello del Lario, Italy, but it comes packed with features that point more to the brand’s future than its past. The V100 Mandello boasts the world’s first adaptive aerodynamics system for a production motorcycle, and it is also the first Moto Guzzi to be equipped with a liquid-cooled engine, quick shift, six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) and, for the higher trim option, semi-active suspension.
