Moto Guzzi 850T tech info
Moto Guzzi 850T description
An unbelievably low mile 3 owner bike from northern Minnesota, Iowa and Wisc. By that I mean the last 3 owners were from these locations. Bike runs excellent, NO major noises, leaks, problems other than what I listed under condition description. Obviously it is not a new bike and is going to show signs of wear and UV damage to frame paint etc. This bike however has never been restored or painted and looks pretty good. I will include a new rear tire for the winner and the Windjammer fairing if your interested. The seat on the bike is a very comfy aftermarket but was never properly attached. It has a fiberglass base and needs to be fastened to the seat pivot by the rear fender. Pretty easy stuff,I just cant really decide how. I am including a new rear tire also as the sidecar duty tends to use those up. It will need a new front too pretty soon, maybe 2-3k miles left on this front. Exhaust is handled by stock header pipes and Dunstall replicas. For some reason the crossover pipe in the center of the bike and the center stand were removed and were not retained. I would recommend adding a crossover pipe. They run better that way. All lights, horn, etc work on the bike and sidecar except for the missing front signals which were in the fairing at one point. I never mind having no signals as I use hand signals on all my bikes. The sidecar usually has peoples attention anyway.
Now for the sidecar, as you can see its a Velorex 562. It is virtually like new except for some minor scratches on the metal fender, some chips here and there in the gelcoat black finish, and it does have a rain cover for the passenger but it seems to be for a taller windshield as it does not fit perfectly...almost but not quite. The tire on the sidecar is like new and all the lights work on the sidecar. No lock for the rear seatback was installed. If you want to use this area securely you will need to get one from Velorex. Allparts for this are still available. These sidecars are made pretty well and are very light. The car also has a functioning drum brake with a cable actuated by the brake lever on the bike, very ingenious and works well. No sudden pulling one direction or the other. The whole rig actually tracks pretty well. There is a slight headshake at low speeds...hands on bars. Or, spend some time tweeking the setup and/or add a steering damper. Well, thats about all I can think of, get a hold of me on my cell phone if you have further questions---612-226-3833. I can remove the sidecar after marking the setup locations for the winning bidder if you need to load it into a truck. Im in central Minneapolis, easy to get to from 35w freeway. FYI...this whole rig baaaaarely fits into a ford E150 van. The bike and car are 52 inches wide give or take, same as the van.

Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results
Fri, 01 Nov 2013Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
