Moto Guzzi 850 LeMans description

A reluctant sale of my long term Moto Guzzi custom restoration project, which took a few years and some of my life energy.

This bike started as a low mileage 850 LeMans - it was completely disassembled, then cleaned, reconditioned, upgraded, and perfected in a tasteful stylish V7 Sport look.
Tonti frame was reconfigured to hang the engine from above (with additional hidden reinforcing brackets), slimming the bike more is the  the 2-into-1 header running the exhaust under the pan.
A single 100mm instrument sits in a bubbly 7” headlight between the rare adjustable swan-neck bars. hubs replaced with drum brakes for a retro look.
Internally, upgraded for higher performance and reliability - Carrillo rods push a balanced crankshaft in 950cc cylinders under NOS(!) LeMans heads with all new bits, spinning a light ergal flywheel. Timing in helical gears, pushing high B10 cams.
Wiring and timing, seat and paint, and other misc tasks are needed to complete the project.

New sheet metal - tank, stainless fender
New bearings and seals
NOS 850 LeMans heads(!), new guides, springs, retainers, valves

Vespa 946 Production Model Confirmed for North America

Piaggio confirmed it will be importing the production version of its Vespa 946 (a.k.a. the “Quarantasei“) to North America, representing the next generation of scooters from the iconic Italian brand. The 946 was presented alongside the Aprilia Caponord 1200 and Moto Guzzi California 1400 at Piaggio’s North American dealer meeting last week in Miami.
