Up for auction is a 2014 Moto Guzzi California 1400 Touring with Agostini Exhaust & Corbin Seat. The tires are brand new as well as the battery. When the battery was recently changed the two front side accessory lights stopped working so they will need to be looked into. The condition is very nice. There is some light wear on the gas tank trim piece where the keys rub and small scratches on the right saddlebag latch chrome. Bonhams To Auction Bruce Smith Collection Of Original Illustrations
Fri, 11 Oct 2013On October 20, Bonhams will be auctioning off a collection of original illustrations by Bruce Smith from the 1960s and 1970s. Each one will be signed by Smith on heavy cartridge paper. The collection is comprised of cutaway illustrations of a 1963 Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc, Chris Vincent’s 1964 BSA 650cc A65 Race Outfit, and a 1966 Greeves Racer, the largest of this series being 45cm x 62cm.
Piaggio Announces 2011-2014 Business Plan – More Hybrids and Electric Models In the Pipeline
Wed, 14 Dec 2011The Piaggio Group revealed its business plans for the next three years with a focus on developing fuel efficient engines and introducing new electric motors and hybrid powertrains. Beginning in 2012, Piaggio plans to introduce a new generation of engines with lower emissions and improved fuel economy. Examples include the new 350cc engine introduced in the Piaggio Beverly SportTouring and the fuel-injected 125cc four-stroke, three-valve engine equipped in the Vespa Quarantasei concept (which the company has apparently, and quietly, renamed as the much easier-to-pronounce Vespa 946).
