MV Agusta F4 tech info

MV Agusta F4 description
Immaculate 2013 MV Agusta F4 with only 3304 miles. New tires recently installed. Truly an amazing Superbike. 100% Stock.
With its new short-stroke engine, ride-by-wire throttle, frame and a host of clever electronic upgrades, this the F4’s biggest overhaul since MV turned their flagship superbike back from a 1078cc, into a 1000 in 2010. Like a well set-up race bike it carves through corners with minimal effort, making it the best-handling F4 ever. It’s also the first production bike to be fitted with an ‘auto-blipper, which lets you change down through the gears without having to use the clutch. But while it handles superbly and dishes up searing acceleration and mind-jangling top speed, the power delivery has too many flat spots and the throttle connection isn’t as predictable as its rivals. It’s an electrifying experience, but a handful to ride very fast. |

2013 MV Agusta F4 and F4 RR – First Ride
Thu, 17 Jan 2013Our Euro correspondent Tor Sagen is one of the first in the world to ride MV Agusta’s brand-new F4 and F4 RR, both equipped with lean-angle sensors, electronically assisted shifting and more. The up-spec RR flagship features an electronic Ohlins suspension and steering damper controlled by a dedicated Ohlins ECU unit, enabling full suspension adjustment (excluding preload) via the press of a button. Also new is the F4’s engine, with the RR claiming 201 crankshaft horsepower at 13,600 rpm, just shy of its new 14K redline.
2014 MV Agusta 3-Cylinder Models Now Feature ABS
Thu, 23 Jan 2014Better late than never, as the saying goes: MV Agusta will be equipping 2014 three-cylinder models — the Brutale 675 and 800, the F3 675 and 800 and the Rivale 800 — with dual-function ABS featuring Normal and Race Mode. These models will come equipped with an internal pressure sensor and independent wheel sensors on each axle, all controlled by the small and lightweight Bosch 9MP ABS control unit. The ABS was specifically developed to provide safer, more effective deceleration on all road surfaces without compromising either the power or the progressiveness of the system and with the clear aim of obtaining the shortest possible braking distances.
Special Edition MV Agusta F3 800 AGO
Thu, 17 Apr 2014MV Agusta announced it will produce a new special edition version of the F3 800 honoring the legendary Giacomo Agostini. The F3 800 AGO was originally revealed last fall at EICMA but MV Agusta has now confirmed it will be produced, releasing full details and pricing. The all-time leader in Grand Prix race wins won 13 of his record 15 world titles with MV Agusta, making him a worthy subject for tribute model.
