MV Agusta F4CC

Tue, 24 Mar 2009

Developed by heavyweight designer Massimo Tamburini and Claudio Castiglioni, the director of MV Augusta, the F4CC will be the most expensive and limited sportbikes made so far. Parts for the bike will be 90% hand crafted out of titanium and carbon fiber, only 100 vehicles will be produced which will feature a 200 hp, 1078 cc engine with a top speed of 195 mph and a Curb weight of 412 lbs. A masterful display by Shakey and might we see MV Agusta at the TT next year?

Tue, 16 Oct 2012

I was interested to see none other than William Dunlop doing some shakedown testing on a very nice MV 675 F3 at Donington recently. The bike appeared failry standard  but sounded sweet and looked pretty rapid out on track. Ohlins technician Richard Brendish was gathering information and helping with set up but reckons no definite decision has been made on where we might see MVs racing next year.   Back to sensible riding and after dropping in for a brew at Shires Motorcycle Training (Derby) the lovely Emily was telling me if your thinking about taking your bike test (especially if you’re 17) it’s not a bad idea to get it done now.

MV Agusta Lucky Explorer 5.5 First Look

Tue, 23 Nov 2021

Not just a cold yet smart marketing project Anybody who’s not playing in the ADV sandbox isn’t really playing in 2022, and that’s why MV Agusta is now dipping an exploratory toe. Two toes: Lucky Explorer 5.5 and Lucky Explorer 9.5. The 5.5, which at some point may inherit the Elefant monicker, is to be powered by a 554 cc DOHC parallel Twin to come from MV’s Chinese partner, QJ.
