MV Agusta is creating buzz around its newest model, teased ahead of Intermot 2014. While some thought the new model might be a wire-wheeled version the Turismo Veloce, unveiled at EICMA last year, this video clearly shows MV is going in a different direction. Paying homage to the all-American sport of drag racing, the video showcases some American iron and the V8 engines that propel them in all their glory.

Jules Cluzel Testing The MV Agusta F3 675 World Supersport Racer – Video

Late last year it was announced that MV Agusta would partner with Yakhnich Motorsport and field two F3 675 triples in World Supersport and one F4 1000 in the premier World Superbike class. In this video, team rider Jules Cluzel, who is stepping back into World Supersport after one season in Superbike, puts the F3 675 triple through its paces during testing at Portimao. The video is composed entirely of on-board shots both in front of and behind Cluzel, which, admittedly, doesn’t always produce the most dramatic video.

2014 World Supersport Provisional Entry List

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Supersport Championship, with 23 riders including two to be announced at a later date. The provisional lists includes riders representing four different manufacturers: Honda, Kawasaki, MV Agusta and Yamaha. Honda is the most popular manufacturer with ten riders (though two are listed as TBA).
