Modular frame with tubular steel trellis section and aluminium plates to provide high torsional rigidity Single-sided swing arm with preload-adjustable shock, 50 mm upside-down fork and new Lithium Ion Battery still to be installed plus Front and Rear wheel sliders for protection. *ABS braking system with radial front calipers. This ABS versions incorporating two riding modes: Normal and Race Mode, the unit employed is the Bosch 9 MP, the market leader offering the maximum performance in the lightest and most compact package which makes it the ideal unit to incorporate into the limited amount of available space on the Brutale. The Bosch ABS unit incorporates internal pressure sensors which work together with the independent wheels speed sensors to give the internal control system the required vehicle information. The ABS has been developed with the precise objective of offering the most secure and effective deceleration in all riding conditions without sacrificing the braking power and progressiveness for which the Brutale has become known. In order to offer the maximum liberty to all riders, the ABS system can be deactivated by the rider by way of the vehicle control software via the menu in the speedometer. Additionally, on the Brutale 1090 ABS there is the Race Mode which can be utilized specifically on the race track or during aggressive street riding. First Official Sketch of the MV Agusta Rivale
Wed, 31 Oct 2012What you see here is the first official sketch released by MV Agusta of the new Rivale, which is expected to be unveiled during EICMA 2012 and available to the public around Fall 2013. Powering the new Rivale is an 800cc version of the 675cc triple currently seen in the F3 and Brutale 675 models. A larger bore (81mm vs. 79mm) accounts for the bump in displacement.

Fri, 02 Nov 2012MV Agusta has made it no secret it is producing an 800cc motard-styled model using a larger version of 675cc three-cylinder engine from the F3 and the Brutale 675. MV Agusta had been openly talking about the new model, expected to be called the Rivale, releasing a sketch of it earlier this week. Less discussed, but probably expected, was the same larger Triple engine would appear in another version of the Brutale.
